This warehouse building was built in the 1930’s with 20’ ceilings, exposed wood and steel beams, and wrap-around transom glass. After the renovation which includes replacing roll-up garage doors with glass storefront entry doors, this vintage structure will house mixed-use tenants of various sizes.
Bliss is a fully appointed spa located in a newly renovated W Hotel in Atlanta’s Midtown neighborhood. The retail shop is a breath of fresh air with its blue sky murals and floating, reflective white shelves.
Once you move beyond the public retail space, clients recline in custom designed pedicure banquettes facing manicure stations and blue couches. This social space is veiled by an acrylic nail polish display, colorfully hanging from the ceiling. As you retreat further into spa you come across cozy waiting rooms, custom lockers, steam showers and vanities with penny tiled walls.
Carol’s Daughter at Lenox Square, Atlanta is a full service hair salon and retail shop that specializes in beauty and hair care products made with all natural ingredients. The raw concrete floors, white-washed brick wall, earth toned cabinetry accented with white ceramic tile and playfully hanging globe lights reflect the products’ emphasis on what is simple, pure and natural.
Here, people, like the products, have a history and are identified by where they came from. On this project, I was known as Susan’s Daughter.
Bliss is a fully appointed spa located in a new construction W Hotel in Atlanta’s Downtown neighborhood. The retail shop, located on the 16th floor of the hotel next to an outdoor swimming pool, reflects the sky with bright blue and shiny white accents and floating shelves.
Once you move beyond the public retail space, clients recline in custom designed pedicure banquettes facing manicure stations and couches. The textured blue walls are accented with custom designed and fabricated neon cloud lights. A curved wall with acrylic nail polish holders artfully lead clients to the waiting rooms and locker rooms. Here, next to the sinks and steam showers, earth meets sky with porcelain tile on the floor that has a photographic imprint of a grassy lawn.

This warehouse building was renovated house mixed-use tenants. The original Art Deco character of the building has been preserved and mimicked for new storefront openings, allowing for multiple tenants to share the building.
